Johari Bazar literally means jewellers market. It is a long stretch of road in the old part of the town with shops on either side of the road. If you plan a visit to this popular market of the Pink City, be prepared for unruly traffic, blaring horns, busy pedestrians, and foreigners with a lost look on their faces.

 Hawa Mahal




Located at a stone throw away from the commercial centre of Pink City, Hawa Mahal is considered as the landmark of Jaipur. Known as the 'Palace of winds", this five story building was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. This palace is decorated with 953 windows or 'Jharokhas' which are adorned with intricate designs. There's a small museum within the complex of Hawa Mahal, which houses famous items like miniature paintings and ceremonial armor.

Panna Meena Ka Kund




AMER IS A SUB-CITY OF Jaipur, Rajasthan, that dates to the medieval period. Today, most travelers who visit Amer come to see the famous Amber Fort. But many are unaware that just next to the massive castle lies a yellow-colored stepwell, built in the 16th century. Panna Meena ka Kund is a square-shaped stepwell, with adjoining stairs on all four sides and a room on the northern wall. It’s believed this room was used for religious ceremonies before weddings or on popular festival dates.Panna Meena ka Kund is not one of the biggest stepwells in Rajasthan, but it’s worth visiting. Nahargarh Fort



One of the major tourist attractions of Jaipur, Nahargarh Fort is noted for its extended wall which connects it to the Jaigarh Fort. Nahargarh Fort was built in 1734 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, founder of Jaipur, on the Aravalli hills, as a retreat place. Nahargarh Fort was built in 1734 by the then Maharaja of Jaipur, Sawai Jai Singh II. He constructed the fort as a retreat for the hunting expeditions of the royal family. The fort was initially named Sudarshangarh but was later renamed as Nahargarh Nahargarh Fort was primarily used as a retreat for the ladies of the royal household and has a ladies quarters by the name of 'Zenana'. Also known as the Madhavendra Bhavan, the 'Zenana' was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Its counterpart, the 'Mardana Mahal' was also constructed in the complex for the royal men. Another attraction in the Nahargarh Fort is the Nahargarh Biological Park, which is an asylum for majestic animals such as tigers, leopards and the Asiatic lions. 

Jal Mahal

As the name suggests, this Mahal on Jal is situated right in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.
