Binance Coin has been surged by 1300% this year making it the biggest rival of Bitcoin and Ethereum. By Market Capitalisation BTC ETH and Binance Coin are the top 3 crypto currency in existence.

Binance Coin has come to limelight after outperforming it's competitors and bringing it to the top 3 crypto. Binance Coin aka BNB is used widely on Binance which is the world's biggest and most used crypto exchange by volume. BNB is also the native currency of Binance Smart Chain. 

Binance Smart Chain is a blockchain platform that supports smart contracts to use in DeFi assets and other such likes.



2021 is also a decent year for the other two wherein Bitcoin was up by 62% and Ethereum made 400% gain in its price. Among these 3, BTC is the most volatile crypto currency and also the favourite around the world. 



The reason Ethereum has outperformed BTC is due to its acceptance of blockchain technology by FinTech biggies and more notably due to preference given to Ethereum in the trade of Non Fungible Token aka NFT in the art and gaming world. Many of the platforms allowing trade of NFTs only prefer Ethereum to make any trades over there. 



With the end of 2021, we have also seen a significant growth in other Altcoins such as Dogecoin, Cardano and Shiba Inu.



This growing popularity of digital assets has been shoot up a step forward by El Salvador becoming the first country to make Bitcoin a legal tender this past year whereas the first ETF tied to Bitcoin Futures began to trade.
